About Jaclyn
Growing up, I always tutored different kids in my math classes. From 3rd grade all the way up until my senior year of high school, I was helping those around me find a fun and easy approach to what we were learning. Algebra is what I excel in but I've also tutored precalculus, geometry, and AP Calculus. In college, I graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre and I try to bring that lively energy into the classroom, while keeping it professional. Even in college, I loved helping my friends out with their math work and seeing them reach that "aha moment" where they felt confident doing it themselves. I would love the opportunity to help others find that as well!

My main goal with tutoring is to provide a wide range of tools and varying methods to get to a solution. Then they can find what works best for them and ensure confidence when having to solve problems individually. A typical lesson plan consist of going over the material, showing how to do different problems, and then finally letting them solve it on their own with supervision. I'm passionate about my love for math and try to incorporate moments of fun into the lesson so that the student also has a good time and eventually shares that passion with me.

Deadly! Jaclyn is an excellent instructor. She goes above and beyond each class by preparing extra content and drills to ensure that my son is fluent in his Math skills. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to have Jaclyn supporting us!
