About Kate
I’m a U.S. medical graduate currently in residency who wasn’t always a strong test-taker. I had to actively rebuild my approach using problem-based strategies and a more deliberate way of thinking through questions and learning the “language” of the USMLE. That process is what I now teach. I understand firsthand how frustrating it is to know the material but still miss questions, and my focus is on helping you develop a clear, repeatable framework so you can approach exams with confidence and consistency.

I offer individualized USMLE Step 1–3 tutoring focused on improving how you think through questions, not just memorizing content. With 3+ years of experience in both one-on-one and group settings (though I prefer 1:1 for maximum impact), I use a problem-based approach involving either reviewing questions you’ve missed or working through new ones together to identify where your reasoning breaks down and how to fix it. I also offer targeted topic-based sessions, breaking down high-yield concepts into simple, memorable frameworks. Ideal for students who feel stuck, are missing questions despite knowing the material, or want a more strategic, high-yield way to approach UWorld/NBME-style questions.
