I’m a fine artist with a deep, ongoing commitment to drawing and painting as a way of seeing and understanding the world. My work is rooted in observation, sensitivity to materials, and attention to detail. I’m naturally patient, perceptive, and thoughtful in how I work with others, and I value creating a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable learning and exploring at their own pace. I enjoy helping others develop their skills and feel more confident and capable in their work.

I’m a RISD-educated fine artist with a refined and versatile practice in drawing and painting across multiple mediums, including pencil, charcoal, ink, and oil painting. I offer personalized, patient lessons for students of all ages, tailored to individual goals—whether for a specific project, application, or skill-building. Lessons focus on observation, technique, and understanding form, light, composition, and surface, along with developing a deeper understanding of materials and how to use them effectively. The aim is clear, steady progress and work students feel proud of.
