About Mino
I'm Elijahy, a high school student from Philly who’s passionate about helping other students understand math without all the stress. I’ve always enjoyed breaking down problems and explaining things in a way that actually makes sense—not just how it’s written in a textbook. I started tutoring because I know what it’s like to sit in class confused or to study for a test feeling stuck, and I wanted to help people get past that.

As a high school student, I know how frustrating math can be when it doesn’t click. That’s why I tutor in a way that’s simple, real, and easy to connect with. I like to break things down step by step and explain them in a way that actually makes sense. . My sessions are relaxed, not rushed, and I make sure you feel comfortable asking anything, even if it seems like a “dumb” question—because there’s no such thing.
In a typical session, we’ll usually start by quickly going over anything we talked about last time or something you’re stuck on. Then I’ll introduce whatever topic we’re working on that day, walking you through examples and showing you how to approach different kinds of problems. Once you’re ready, we’ll solve some together, and then you’ll try a few on your own while I guide you. What sets me apart is that I’m not just a tutor—I’m a peer who gets what it’s like to be in these classes.
