When I begin working with a student, I first take the time to understand their educational goals, where they are currently, and what steps must be taken to close that gap.
I used evidence-based practices such as spaced repetition, establishing clear goals for each session, and providing frequent feedback.
Establishing rapport with my students and creating a comfortable learning environment are core to my approach. I believe that this helps students communicate and accept constructive feedback more effectively.
I am lucky that my wife is a teacher working on her doctorate in education. She helps me to cater lessons and continue to grow as an educator.
