Where do I start! Before Tobbie I really struggled with understanding math and automatically shut down in math classes at school as my solo efforts never ended in success. However Tobbie’s math lessons genuinely were my saving grace. Tobbie is incredibly patient and persistent, some topics required her to create inventive new ways of explaining something for me to understand and she wouldn’t stop until I fully understood it no matter how long it took, often extending classes and eating into her own time. She is extremely dedicated to her students truly wanting them to succeed, always up for extra classes or random late night questions over the phone. More encouraging than any other maths tutor I have had in my life, praising all attempts I made and correcting them without making me feel stupid. Tobbie grew my interest and love for maths overnight, so it no longer felt like a chore but exciting problems to solve.

I had maths grinds with tobbie and she was so helpful. She took the time to make sure that I was understanding and if I wasn’t she would rethink her method to one that suited me best which was super helpful.
