About Sarah

I'm a multidisciplinary artist from Atlanta, living in Decatur, GA.
I specialize in traditional studio art, and I would be excited to share the joys of drawing, painting, digital photography and film, sculpture, experimental media, and guitar with students of all ages. I'm a former Art Laboratory Assistant of Columbus State University, and I have advised, edited and filmed work for masters and PhD students at the University of Oxford. I'm also a former Assistant Teacher of the International Montessori Academy (Little Five Points, Atlanta), and Atomic Tangerine Studios (formerly Oak Grove, Atlanta). I have offered private art lessons, generally focusing on drawing and painting.

I believe an expanded, multidisciplinary practice is ideal for today’s art students, as it prepares them for a variety of foundation requirements for university-level education, or for any number of artistic careers that require a strong classical or technologically oriented skillset. Given that the structure of the global artistic community varies immensely, and paths to careers in art are so often full of obstacles, I believe it is extremely important to reiterate for students and families that practical, traditional, and technological skills are equally vital for modern artists to thrive.
