About Silvia Carolina
I am a Veterinary Doctor graduated from UNAM, I exercised my career for 15 years. As an English Teacher, I have worked for 28 years teaching the language, in pre-school and primary schools, based on an active education, where students intervene in obtaining their learning in a pleasant way for them.

I like to know how my students learn and what they should learn, with a planning of the activities, with which I organize and evaluate the educational work, and with a pertinent didactic intervention. In my case to teach the language, I use the PPP method (Presentation, Practice, Product) in which the presentation of the subject and vocabulary is made, where I as a teacher serve as a model, later I practice with printed images "Flash Cards "and examples orally and in writing. Later, the students show the learned, this is done repeatedly until the expected learning is achieved. In Reading-Writing, I also do exercises to evaluate pronunciation and grammar. It is also important to perform "Listening" and "Spelling" exercises, with which I check the learning and correct use of vocabulary. I like that my students take part in the activities, that there is a feedback in all of them, so that together we learn. I also like to make TPR (Total Physical Response) games, with which children are actively involved in the acquisition and reinforcement of the topics seen.
