About Michané
Hello! My name is Michané. I am 2 years old and I am from Cape Town, South Africa.
I studied at Stellenbosch University, where I completed my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology as well as my Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. I also have a 160 hour advanced TEFL certificate.
I have been tutoring students privately online as well as face to face since the beginning of my fourth year in University (2019) until the the start of 2021.
I have also been working as an online ESL teacher where I was teaching Chinese students between the ages 4-12. I just finished my job working as an English Teacher in Istanbul which I pursued for 1 year.
I have a very warm, fun and energetic personality. I really enjoy helping other people succeed and reach their goals in life. It truly makes me so happy to see other people being content with what they have achieved in life and knowing that I contributed to that is a great achievement for myself.

I would say my teaching style is very interactive. I try to make the lessons as fun and as engaging as possible and I aim to alter my teaching style to the personality, learning style and needs of my student. I find it very important to get to know my students on a personal level in order to understand their learning style best, hence the reason I always incorporate a few minutes of free talk in my lessons.
