About Tom
I am now completing my masters degree in theoretical compuational physics at the University of Leeds, and currently achieving a first class honours, my masters project is specifically studying a new and exciting form of quantum matter, named a time crystal, I use this extensive knowledge of current physics to push students to achieve the best possible results.

I am a firm believer in the feynman technique of learning, where to fully understand a concept, you must be able to explain it to a primary school student. This will be a focus of my lessons, not doing every question under the sun but making sure the student has excellent grasp of the subject and can then apply it to various situations.
This method has got myself excellent results through school and when I have tutored GCSEs students previously, they all claimed it was a fresh and vital learning experience that benefited them massively.

Deadly! Absolutely amazing teacher who explains things in a clear, easy to understand manner. Tom helps identify gaps in my knowledge and we work through them together, allowing me to solidify my weaker areas and develop my exam technique. He is super friendly and I cannot recommend him enough!
