My Approach to Tutoring
As a Final-Year Financial Maths and Actuarial Science student at UCC, I believe in simplifying complex concepts to make math accessible and engaging for every student. My teaching methodology is based on understanding, practice, and confidence-building.
Here's how I approach my lessons:
Exam-Focused Preparation: For Leaving Cert students, I emphasize past exam papers, marking schemes, and proven strategies to secure top marks.
Customized Plans: I tailor lessons to each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals, ensuring progress at their own pace.
Interactive Learning: My lessons are highly interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and actively solve problems during sessions.
Typical Lesson Length
Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes, with flexibility based on the student's needs and focus areas.
Sessions include a mix of teaching, practice, and review, ensuring a thorough understanding of the material.
My Qualifications and Experience
