I’m a med student with a passion for teaching, especially the sciences. I nearly became a teacher instead! I love teaching complicated topics and try make them as simple as possible! My motto is “if you can’t break it down enough to be able teach a 10 year old, you don’t know it well enough!”

I’m looking to teach secondary school students from 1st year to Leaving Cert classes. I got H1s in higher level maths, English, chemistry, physics, biology and home economics in 2019
I have taught maths and science grinds at leaving cert level for 2 years, including when I was a student myself.
I like to start with basic concepts and break things down really simply and build up. I don’t believe in memorising. I think simple concepts that are easy to remember are much more effective and you can adapt your knowledge more easily. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, I like to answer them!
I am also willing to give study tips and send some of my personal notes as needed. I can also help with exam technique. I’m also willing to work very flexible hours and give classes on Zoom.
Classes are usually 1 hour but we can do longer sessions if needed and focus on topics you’re struggling with. Fast paced rapid fire revision classes on the main topics can also be given if desired
