About Nuss
As an individual with a bioscience background myself, I have a deep interest learning abut the sciences and want to inspire the same curiosity in children. My philosophy in teaching is not to just cram as much information into a child's brain, but rather to build curiosity about the world around them and harness that to achieve the highest grades in their school work. I used to work in teaching field before as a science instructor at 'Mad Science'. Here I worked with classes sizes of 10-20 at summer camps to carry out fun experiments, science lesson, and interactive workshops. I also received extensive training, experience and techniques to relay scientific curiosity in children(ages 3-14). I had to stop working there because of COVID, but I truly miss spending time teaching children. Lastly, I am alway open to collaboratively working with parents to find the right curriculum for their child.

- I am a tutor who uses teaching techniques that work for your child. I also am a firm believer of using 'gentle' teaching techniques to build confidence and independence in the child's abilities and learning
-I take the time to really understand the child's weaknesses, strengths and way of thinking to teach them in them scientific and mathematic concepts.
- I use real-life examples, interactive toys, and relevant metaphors to relay math and scientific concepts to children
-I can follow the curriculum provided by the child's school or make a curriculum for the individual child.
- I offer classes virtually or in person (+$15) in mississauga only
