About Lisa
I graduated from UC Davis. I had been tutoring math from Grades 3-12. I helped student to build a strong math foundation. I started taking calculus since freshman in high school. I always the youngest student in any math class throughout middle school and high school. I have been tutoring math one-on-one since 2009 in subjects that include Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus. I enjoy helping students learn at their own pace and guiding them to success in their math goals.

I specialize in one-on-one settings, where I connect with students and find the best way to relate to them. With that connection built on mutual respect, I find it much easier to carefully explain concepts in multiple ways to ensure students understand the material. I have a great deal of patience and a strong passion to be the best tutor I can be. My patience with students and their different learning styles is what sets me apart from other tutors.
