As a tutor, I believe in tailoring education to the individual. I design personalized learning plans based on each student’s academic level, learning style, and personal or medical needs. My teaching method emphasizes clarity, patience, and consistency, especially when working with students who face learning challenges such as dyscalculia or ADHD.

I use a student-centered approach that combines structured support with flexibility. I integrate:

Scaffolded instruction to build foundational understanding

Visual and hands-on tools, especially in STEM subjects

Progress monitoring to adjust methods based on results

Clear, encouraging feedback to build confidence and motivation

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-up review to reinforce previous concepts

Introduction of new material, broken down into digestible parts

Guided practice with real-time support

Independent practice to build retention

Wrap-up and review, with time for questions

Progress notes sent to parents or guardians (for younger students)

What Sets Me Apart
I’m a Certified Dyscalculia Specialist and have extensive experience working with K-12 students who test below grade level or have learning disabilities. I bring empathy, structure, and adaptability to every session. Additionally, I’ve successfully run my own tutoring business, so I understand the value of accountability and clear communication with families.

Who My Lessons Are For
I tutor K-12 students across all academic levels, with a focus on:

STEM subjects (Math, Biology, General Science)

Students with IEPs or learning challenges

Those needing intervention or grade-level support

Homeschool and distance learning students

Whether a student is falling behind or aiming ahead, I tailor each session to foster both academic growth and self-confidence.
