About Ye
As for my background, I have been studying drawing since childhood and have over 20 years of academic training in sketching and fine art.
I also hold a dual bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and Art History from UCLA.

Sketch, painting, kids drawing, competition drawing. Taught in Chinese or English.
we’ll begin with the fundamentals by practicing basic geometric forms such as cubes, spheres, and cones. Once they become comfortable with these shapes, we’ll move on to more complex combinations of forms, including intersecting solids like pyramids and cones. This stage focuses on building a strong foundation in observation, proportions, construction, and light and shadow.
As students progress, they’ll begin studying individual facial features—eyes, noses, ears, and mouths—before moving on to drawing the entire face. Since this stage can be more repetitive and challenging, I’ll also incorporate still life and landscape sketching throughout the course to keep lessons engaging while continuing to strengthen their drawing skills.
