About Ameyali
I’m Ameyali Espíndola (Mexico City, 1996), a trans artist and workshop facilitator, graduate of Visual Arts at UNAM. My work blends comics, drawing, illustration, and self-publishing, with a focus on self-representation and collaborative processes. Since 2016, I have developed Niño Cucaracha, an art and publishing project combining humor, memory, and dissent. I have taught workshops in museums, fairs, and independent spaces, working with people of all ages to explore drawing and comics as creative and critical tools.
