About Apekshit
I am emerging curator and visual artist with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts, specializing in Art History, and a Master's in Curating from the University of the West of England. With hands-on experience in curating exhibitions and coordinating art projects, and collaborated with institutions like the National Museum of Wales and freelance projects such as On Your Face, focusing on fostering inclusive artistic dialogue. Passionate about contemporary art and cultural engagement, I bring a creative, detail-oriented approach to curatorial practices and exhibition management.
Art begins with embracing mistakes as part of the creative journey. Mastering basic line work lays the foundation for more advanced shading techniques. Life drawing, which I loved during my undergraduate studies, develops key skills like observation, proportion, and form. This process enhances both technical abilities and creativity, allowing artists to translate real-life subjects into expressive works. Over time, these practices help build confidence and versatility, essential for growth as an artist.
