About Zak
I am currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Physics with Theoretical Physics at Imperial College London. Being a tutor in sixth form was an incredible rewarding experience as I got to see my students improve with each session and even begin to enjoy the subjects they used to fear the most. I myself had a tutor for A-Levels and I strongly believe that was a huge part of my success. I want to continue supporting other students and inspire them to be excited by their subjects. It would be fantastic to be part of someone’s success in getting into their dream uni or achieving a grade they never thought they could.

My techniques and teaching methodology:
From tutoring a range of ages in both GCSE and A-level maths and physics during sixth form, I have learnt that enthusiasm is the key to being a great tutor. I aim to bring excitement to my lessons and show the real world applications of the content being learnt. This will ensure that lessons are engaging and productive. For maths and physics, problem solving is a key skill that can only be learnt through practice. I aim to structure my sessions around learning key content at the start, such as a new method to solve an unfamiliar type of equation, then spending the majority of the lesson tackling questions relevant to the new content.
