About Koen
I am currently a medical student at UNSW with a strong academic background in mathematics and science. Having successfully progressed through competitive senior secondary examinations, I understand the discipline, consistency, and strategic preparation required to achieve high academic results.
I am passionate about helping students build confidence in challenging subjects and believe that true understanding comes from breaking complex ideas into clear, logical steps. My aim is to create a supportive, focused learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and steadily improving their performance.

I deliver structured, exam-focused tutoring tailored to senior secondary students preparing for ATAR and WACE examinations. My approach emphasises strong conceptual understanding first, followed by systematic problem-solving techniques and exam strategy refinement.
Each lesson typically runs for 60–90 minutes and is customised to the student’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement. Sessions incorporate targeted practice questions, past examination papers, and timed drills to build both accuracy and performance under exam conditions.
As a current UNSW medical student, I understand the discipline, consistency, and exam strategy required to achieve high academic outcomes. My goal is to help students not only improve their marks, but also develop confidence and independent learning skills that extend beyond the classroom.
