I know firsthand how demanding senior high school can be, and I enjoy helping students make difficult concepts feel manageable and intuitive. Having gone through a competitive academic pathway myself, I focus on teaching smart study strategies, clear problem-solving methods, and exam techniques that actually work under pressure.
I want to teach because I genuinely enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and realize they’re capable of more than they think — with the right guidance and support.

Hi, I’m Michael — a UNSW Medicine student with a strong academic background and a 99.15 ATAR, including Band 6 results in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics.
Having navigated a highly competitive academic pathway myself, I understand the pressure students face to perform consistently at a high level. What shapes my tutoring approach is not just strong results, but firsthand experience learning how to study effectively, refine exam technique, and avoid the common mistakes that hold capable students back .
I’ve worked with students across a range of abilities, and I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, intuitive explanations while helping students build confidence in problem-solving and exam strategy. My goal is to help students understand why things work — not just memorise formulas — so they can apply their knowledge under exam conditions .
Having balanced demanding subjects myself, I know how to structure study time efficiently and tailor learning strategies to individual strengths and weaknesses. With a supportive, structured, and results-driven approach, I believe any student can significantly improve their performance and reach their academic goals .
