About Boya
I am currently studying Physics and Mathematics at the University of Sydney and have a strong academic foundation in QCE Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods and Physics. I am passionate about helping students develop clear logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
I am patient, responsible and structured in my approach, and I aim to create a supportive and focused learning environment. As a bilingual speaker fluent in both English and Mandarin, I am also able to provide explanations in either language when needed.

I have provided tutoring to high school students studying for the QCE in Specialist Math, Math Methods, and Physics. As a current student majoring in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Sydney, I understand both the high school curriculum and the mindset students develop to transition to university-level learning.
My lessons focus on building strong conceptual understanding first, then mastering exam techniques and problem-solving strategies. I break down difficult topics step by step, provide structured practice questions, and teach students how to approach complex exam-style problems with confidence.
Lessons are typically 1–2 hours depending on the student’s needs. I offer online lessons as well as in-person tutoring near Zetland. I am fluent in Mandarin and can provide bilingual (English–Chinese) explanations if preferred, helping students feel more comfortable and fully understand complex concepts.
My goal is not just to improve marks, but to help students develop logical thinking skills and long-term confidence in math and physics.
