About Steve
Hi! I’m Steve, and I’ve spent over 20 years figuring out how things work—whether it’s a tricky math problem, a soccer play on a snowy field, or even a computer that can "think" like a person. My career has been an exciting journey in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, where I’ve helped build smart systems and worked with the latest high-tech tools. I love taking these big, "intimidating" ideas and translating them into something clear and easy to see, so they don't feel confusing anymore.

I know math and science can sometimes feel like a giant wall, but after 20 years of coaching, I’ve learned that they’re actually more like a puzzle we can solve together. My favorite thing to do is 'translate' those tricky topics into ideas that are clear and easy to see—usually by using funny stories or real-life examples that actually make sense. We’ll find a learning rhythm that works specifically for you, moving away from boring memorization so you can truly understand how things work. Each time we meet, we’ll start by reviewing what you already know to build your confidence, dive into some storytelling to make tough theories feel simple, and then practice together until you’re ready to tackle problems all on your own. My goal is to be a patient mentor who makes even the most daunting subjects feel genuinely fun.
