About Kerry
Hi, there! I am a Year 12 Math student in Hamilton Boys' High. I have been tutoring a variety of students that have their own perspectives of understanding at the Department of Mathematics in HBHS. With both NCEA Level 1, part of Level 2 as well as Cambridge IGCSE and AS Level Math syllabus completed, I am able to teach both NCEA and Cambridge courses. You can expect well-prepared, clear, and supportive lessons tailored to your needs. I will help you develop not only problem-solving skills but also confidence in approaching unfamiliar questions. Whether you're aiming to strengthen your basics or tackle advanced topics, I will guide you at your pace.

I believe Mathematics remains the ultimate language to explain and understand the world. As a tutor in the Mathematics Department at HBHS since Year 10, I’ve worked with students who each approach the subject differently, and I value adapting to those unique perspectives. In our lessons, I will tailor my teaching to your personal learning style and help you discover the most effective way to study. Whether you’re building your foundation or aiming to deepen your understanding, I’m here to support that journey. My lessons are typically 50 to 60 minutes long but can be adjusted, especially for junior or senior students working at a medium to high level (e.g. NCEA Level 1 or 2).
