About Carolyn
My name is Caroline Alejo, and I am a qualified English and Social Science educator with over 15 years of teaching experience. I specialize in helping students build confidence and fluency through student-centered, interactive lessons that make learning practical, creative, and enjoyable.
I use a constructivist approach, guiding learners to practice real-life communication rather than memorizing rules. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level and personality, with techniques such as role-play, storytelling, and art-based activities to make English feel natural and engaging.

I believe learning English should feel natural, comfortable, and empowering. A Typical Lesson Plan
Warm-up (5 minutes): Simple conversation or fun activity to ease into English.
Core Learning (20 minutes): Focus on a theme (e.g., introductions, daily routines, creative storytelling). Includes vocabulary, collocations, and sentence practice.
Interactive Practice (10 minutes): Games, role-play, or art-based tasks to apply learning in a relaxed way.
Reflection & Wrap-up (5 minutes): Review key points, encourage self-expression, and set a small goal for next time.
