About Kyle

I help students build confidence and improve results in maths by breaking down complex topics into clear, structured steps.

My focus is on algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and foundational exam skills, with an emphasis on helping students actually understand why methods work, not just memorising formulas.

I have a BS in Mathematics and I’m currently completing a Master of Commerce (Data Analytics / Business Information Systems) at University of Sydney. I bring a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving. This helps students learn how to think more logically, avoid common mistakes, and approach exam questions with more confidence and speed.

I have also completed the Working With Children Check: Number WWC3330144E.

About the lesson

I truly believe that students dislike maths because it's often not taught well.

Each of my sessions is structured so students always know what they’re doing and why:

Quick check-in/diagnostic: We identify weak areas or confusion from schoolwork or recent tests.

Concept breakdown: I explain the topic in simple, step-by-step language, often using multiple approaches until it clicks.

Guided practice: We work through questions together, focusing on method and reasoning.

Independent practice: Students attempt similar problems while I provide feedback in real time.

Exam application: We apply the concept to exam-style questions so students learn how it appears in tests.
