I’m proud to share that I’ve graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management, minoring in Economics, and was honored to be on the Dean’s List. With over 15 years of teaching experience in this field at SMK KL, I’ve developed a strong passion for guiding students and helping them understand the practical and theoretical aspects of the subject. About the lesson

As a Secondary school teacher, and a tuition teacher, one of my most successful lesson plans was designed specifically for students struggling to grasp key concepts in the key subjects before their exams. I began by identifying their weak areas through short diagnostic quizzes and informal discussions. Then, I created a structured yet flexible weekly plan focused on simplifying complex topics into smaller, digestible sections.

To make lessons more engaging, I used interactive methods such as real-life case studies, group discussions, and mind mapping. I introduced games like “Econ Jeopardy” to test knowledge in a fun and competitive way. Visual aids, such as charts and infographics, were used to help visual learners retain information better. I also encouraged students to teach each other, which helped build confidence and reinforced their understanding.

Regular mock tests and actual past year exam papers with personalized feedback allowed students to track their progress and reduce exam anxiety. I noticed significant improvement in their confidence and academic performance over time.

This approach not only helped students perform better in exams but also made learning more enjoyable and meaningful. It reinforced the idea that with the right guidance and method, every student has the potential to succeed.
