About Joshua

I'm an artist actively building my career — currently creating work for a music band and studying under Marc Brunet's professional art curriculum. I've had real conversations with animators who worked on productions like The Proud Family and The Iron Giant — and I've taken every lesson from those moments seriously.
I teach because I know exactly what it feels like to stare at a blank page and not know where to start — and I know what principles actually get you moving in the right direction.

About the lesson

Whether you're a kid picking up a pencil for the first time or an adult who always wanted to draw but never started — we're going to figure out where you are and build from there.
I'm not going to overwhelm you with technical jargon. I teach fundamentals — anatomy, shapes, proportion, style — in a way that actually sticks. My students consistently tell me I show them things other teachers haven't.
By the end of our lessons, drawing won't feel like a mystery anymore. It'll feel like a language you're learning to speak.
