About Rocco
My credentials include a B.S. in Astrophysics from UC San Diego, and an M.Ed. from Boston College. I have many years of tutoring experience from when I was in high school all the way through college. What brings me to tutoring physics specifically is the fact that I know firsthand how difficult it can be, and how helpful it was for me to receive help from my peers and instructors. I take great pride in helping my students obtain a firm grasp of the material, and am determined to guide them to achieve their learning goals. Whether you need help answering just a few questions, or would like to dive deeper into a topic of interest, I am ready, and happy to help! :)

I always start with the key points of a topic, and make sure there is a fundamental understanding of the basics before we build up to the more complex material. I frequently check in for understanding, and encourage questions, and/or going back to clarify. I also am quick to come up with additional examples to practice and fine tune problem solving techniques.
My experience tutoring at both a high school and college level has introduced me to a variety of skillsets and common challenges, and my masters in education taught me about the many different learning profiles and their respective best instructional approaches.
I welcome both beginner, and more advanced students alike. I can help both high school and college students in a realm of physics topics and math subjects including (but not limited to)
