About Louis

I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 7 years of experience helping high school and college students achieve fluency, confidence, and academic success. My approach focuses on personalised learning, ensuring that lessons are tailored to the student’s individual needs, level, and goals.

I combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking exercises with real-life scenarios and interactive practice to make learning both practical and engaging. I foster a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate, take risks, and ask questions.

Throughout my career, I have helped students enhance fluency, improve academic results, and develop strong communication skills for both educational and professional contexts.

About the lesson

I follow a C³P teaching methodology—Creativity, Communication, Compassion, and Problem-solving—to make ESL lessons engaging and practical. Creativity is promoted through storytelling, role-playing, and project-based exercises that inspire students to think imaginatively and express themselves confidently in English.

Communication is emphasised through discussions, debates, and collaborative exercises that improve fluency, comprehension, and practical communication skills. Compassion ensures lessons are student-centred, personalised to each learner’s pace and learning style, with guidance, encouragement, and constructive feedback.

Problem-solving is embedded through scenario-based exercises, analytical tasks, and real-world challenges, enabling learners to apply English skills practically while developing critical thinking abilities. I also cover related subjects such as reading comprehension, writing, and vocabulary enrichment for holistic learning.

This methodology equips learners to be creative, confident, empathetic, and capable of applying English successfully in diverse contexts.
