About Gautam
As a recent IB graduate and class valedictorian with a score of 43/45, I understand exactly how demanding dealing with the content and coursework of this curriculum can be. During my own journey, I found that the most significant breakthroughs didn't come from textbooks alone, but from the invaluable insights shared by seniors who had already mastered the IB's nuances.
Now, as a Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College London, I am passionate about passing that same high-level mentorship on to the next cohort. I want to help students navigate the specific pressures of the IB, providing the clarity and strategic 'insider' tips that make the difference between a 6 and a 7. My goal is to allow students to ease through the hiccups I had, and reach their full academic potential.

My tutoring approach is strictly evidence-based, ensuring we adhere closely to the verified IB textbooks and the latest syllabus requirements. I believe the key to mastering IB Physics and Maths lies in the transition from theory to application; therefore, a significant portion of our time is dedicated to analysing and solving past paper questions. This helps students recognise recurring patterns and understand exactly what examiners are looking for.
As a current engineering student, I provide a unique perspective on how these mathematical and physical principles function in the real world. Beyond standard problem-solving, I offer specialised support for Internal Assessments (IA) and the Extended Essay (EE), focusing on structured research and data analysis. Lessons are typically 60 to 90 minutes and are customised for both Higher Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL) students to build the confidence needed for top-tier results.
