About Jay

Hello. I’m from the UK and have been tutoring English for over 5 years now. In that time I’ve helped over 300 students master English as a foreign language.

I was brought up speaking Spanish too, and also learned Portuguese and French. That means I know what it’s like to learn a foreign language, and that empathy makes me a great teacher. I understand what you’re going through trying to learn English.

I studied Foreign Languages at university and have visited 55 countries. When I’m not teaching, I work as a writer and translator. I write marketing content and focus on the travel industry.

My hobbies include cycling, the gym and learning languages.

Book your free trial class today and let’s get to know each other :)

About the lesson

My classes are fully tailored to your needs. In the free trial class, we’ll get to know each other. You’ll tell me why you’re learning English and what you want to achieve. I’ll then design the classes around your goals, so you can learn English faster.

We can focus on:

-Conversation, pronunciation and speaking practice
-IELTS and other exam preparations
-English for work and job interviews
-English for travel
-English for living in the UK
-And anything else.

At the end of each class, you'll get the chance to give me feedback. You can tell me what you like and dislike, so we can ensure the classes are perfect for you.

Book your free trial class and I’ll help you achieve your English goals :)
