About Carys
I specialise in teaching older teenagers and adults of all ages. I also speak Intermediate-level Japanese and can explain words and grammatical concepts in Japanese if needed. I’ve been self-studying language for many years, and I understand the challenges and rewards that come with it. Hi, my name is Carys, I’m an English tutor from Sheffield. I’ve lived in England, Wales, and Ireland and I’m familiar with dialects from all over the UK. I have a qualification in teaching english as a foreign language from TEFL.org and I’m offering lessons personalised to your needs and your language-learning goals. I teach the important everyday skills you’ll need to live in an English-speaking country, including conversational skills, local dialects, customs, and idiomatic phrases we use in day-to-day English.
