About Wilson
I am a recent graduate from the University of Houston. My prior experience include tutoring Algebra while I was in high school in addition to volunteering to tutor there after graduating. While in college, I occasionally tutored people who were referred to me by friends and associates in math subjects ranging from Calculus I to ordinary differential equations. I am currently tutoring Geometry and Pre-Calculus, but my preference and expertise would be primarily in Algebra and Calculus. I have successfully obtained a Math Minor along with my Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.

I have previously tutored a student consistently through a semester of high school physics and believe that I did well to provide and connect real world uses and knowledge that utilized what was learned in the classroom. Usually students have a hard time understanding the material due to the fact that it is difficult to find an available connection to their real world, but I try to make it simple by providing examples from everyday student life if possible. I have also tutored many subcategories in the mathematics field using the same method with age groups from 14 to 21.

My rates may vary dependent on travel distance required and may also be negotiable dependent on travel distance and/or subject difficulty/grade level. I require a 5 hour notice for cancellation of a session; if cancelled within 5 hours of appointment, client will be charged for a half hour.
