About Victor
I am an experienced Maths and Physics tutor with a strong academic foundation built upon my Ph.D. studies in Theoretical Physics. Over the course of my career, I have taught at all levels—from serving as a University Physics Lecturer and teaching outstanding high school students at a dedicated Centre for Science Education, to providing highly targeted private tuition for GCSE, A-level, and university undergraduates.
Alongside my teaching career, I spent over two decades working as a Senior Physicist, Researcher, and technology executive in London. Serving for 15 years as a CTO and Head of Engineering for major global corporations, I applied advanced analytical thinking and mathematical modelling to complex, real-world R&D challenges. This extensive industry experience allows me to offer my students a unique perspective on how advanced mathematics and physics operate outside the classroom.
In recent years, I’ve returned to teaching full-time, specialising in preparing students for a wide range of exams, from GCSEs and A-levels to competitive university entrance exams, including those for top UK institutions such as Oxford and Cambridge. Additionally, I offer efficient preparation for university undergraduate course exams. I provide a focused, structured, and highly effective approach to help students excel in these exams, ensuring they have the best chance of success at every level of their education.
Teaching has always been my true passion, and I offer a friendly, structured, and effective learning environment, where students feel supported and encouraged. I’m confident in my ability to explain complex topics clearly, identify gaps in understanding, and help students build both confidence and competence.

My online tutoring sessions are highly interactive and heavily focused on problem-solving strategy. I adapt easily to different university curricula and exam boards, providing targeted support whether you are revising for GCSEs, mastering A-levels, or navigating rigorous undergraduate physics modules. I also offer highly specialized, efficient preparation for elite university entrance exams, including the TMUA, MAT, STEP, and ESAT.
During our sessions, we utilize digital whiteboards for real-time, collaborative problem-solving. I work alongside you to break down complex topics step-by-step, helping you develop the critical thinking and advanced exam techniques required for success. Furthermore, I do not rely on generic textbooks; I design and build bespoke, professional-grade mock exams and custom worksheets tailored directly to your specific university module or exam syllabus.
Above all, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you feel comfortable tackling the most challenging concepts. Lessons typically run for 1 to 1.5 hours, but can be seamlessly extended based on your goals.

Victor has helped me with my A-level physics and mathematics for a few months prior to my exams that have just passed. He is an amazing tutor, and made me feel very comfortable with his friendly manner and style of teaching, as he is very easy to understand. It is clear to see how caring he is about his students and multiple times he has chosen a practice question that came up on my exam the day after! I would highly recommend Victor to any other student looking for a kind and engaging tutor.
Victor taught my daughter physics at our house for a period of time just before her GCSEs. He is a very polite and modest gentleman and I know my daughter really enjoyed the lessons, and her knowledge of physics improved greatly as a result of Victor’s efforts. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
I was studying Math 2 Honors with Victor last year, and I hope we will continue this year for Math 3 Honors. His explanations are always clear and helpful, and I believe it improved my math knowledge and gave me new math skill. My final grade last year was a 93, and Victor helped me improve my grade to 93 a lot.
My daughter has been attending sessions with Victor for nearly two years and she has progressed so much during that time growing much more confident for undertaking her Maths GCSE.
Victor finds a way of connecting with his students by supporting them to get the most out if the sessions.
He is calm, considered and most of all patient and very dedicated.
I would highly recommend Victor to anyone looking for a Maths tutor.Victor was tutoring my son for his GCSE math course and my son found him to be an excellent teacher with clear explanations, very easy to understand the math content, he boost my son's confidence tremendously. Highly recommended to the other students!
