About POLOKO

Hello! I’m a graduate of the National University of Lesotho, where I earned a BA in Development Studies and French. I have experience tutoring English and French since 2019, and I enjoy helping learners develop their language skills and become more confident communicators.

As a multilingual tutor, I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging. That is why I create a friendly, supportive environment where students can ask questions, practise freely and learn from their mistakes without feeling embarrassed.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to individual needs, interests and goals. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, strengthen your grammar, prepare for professional situations or become more fluent, I will support you throughout your learning journey.

My goal is to make every lesson practical, engaging and worthwhile. I look forward to helping you build confidence and achieve your language-learning goals. Let’s learn together!

About the lesson

My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and student-centred. I believe people learn best when they feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and practising without fear of being judged. I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, learning pace, and current level.

My lessons combine conversation practice, grammar explanations, vocabulary building, pronunciation exercises, and practical activities based on everyday situations. For students interested in professional communication, I also incorporate Business English, workplace conversations, and interview preparation. I encourage active participation and provide constructive feedback to help students improve steadily.

Lessons typically last 50–60 minutes, depending on the student's needs and availability. Each class has a clear goal, with time for practice, feedback, and a review of what we have learned.

I hold a BA in Development Studies and French from the National University of Lesotho and have experience tutoring English and French since 2019. My multilingual background helps me understand the challenges learners face when developing confidence in another language.

My lessons are suitable for teenagers and adults, including beginners, intermediate learners, university students, and professionals who want to improve their conversational English, grammar, fluency, or workplace communication. Whether you are learning English for school, work, travel, or personal development, I will work with you to make your learning experience practical, enjoyable, and rewarding.
