About Meips
I have just finished tutoring English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses to international students at the University of Leeds, England. Prior to this, I had been working as an English Language tutor at the University of Greenwich, Da Nang campus in Vietnam for five years.

✓ I am a qualified TEFL tutor with a Master of Teaching in Higher Education and extensive experience spanning six years teaching both virtual and in-person classes to students of various ages.

✓ I have assisted university students in preparing for their IELTS exams at a reputable Vietnam-based British university.

✓ I have delivered Business English classes to working adults at a global software company.
✓ I'm bilingual and have been exposed to the English language since an early age, as all subjects in my home country, Brunei, are taught in English. This privilege has allowed me to understand what it takes to learn a new language!

✓ Analyse your IELTS Writing reports and essays. We will transform your weaknesses into strengths, employing strategies that utilise your acquired skills to achieve a well-deserved band score. Through oral and written feedback/reviews, you will learn to write better than you did yesterday!
✓ Enhance your IELTS Speaking skills. We will engage in continual practice on general topics to ensure you are well-prepared for the test day!
✓ Practice your English language skills commonly used in the workplace. We will base our conversations around your work, enabling you to engage in discussions with colleagues and clients effectively.
✓ Learn from mistakes and develop grammar and vocabulary skills commonly used in daily conversations and English for beginners. We will engage in constant conversations on topics that interest you!
