About Lucas
Hi! My name is Lucas, and I am an incoming freshman as a Physics Major to Northwestern University, a top 10 school in the United States.
I have various academic achievements, such as scoring a 15 in the f=ma competition, scoring a 5 in both AP Calc BC and AP Physics 1 exams, and going to state with my school's science olympiad team as the physics dude :)
I also love to sing, and have been singing in choirs for 9 years now, and to swim and play basketball.
I hope you will enjoy your time with me as your tutor!

I am very passionate about math and physics! I like to use problems as examples and take it step by step to make sure that my student understands the core concepts, instead of simply forcing the students to memorize formulas.
I like to make real life examples and use simpler examples of similar problems to help the students understand the fundamental skills first, before tackling difficult questions.
Ive had various experiences as a tutor with kids as well as students from 6th-12th grade, with relative success as their grades improved and they were gain a deeper understanding of math and physics via an unconventional way of teaching from their teachers.
As mentioned before, this is mostly for math and physics from 6th-12th grade, however I can also teach beginners if necessary.
I am most proficient in Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus and Calculus AB/BC, and AP Physics 1 content.
