Hello! My name is Isabelle, and I am passionate about helping students excel in maths and physics. As a final year engineering student at Trinity College Dublin, I have a solid academic foundation and a deep understanding of these subjects. One of my personal academic achievements is receiving a 100% grade in Engineering Maths 3 at Trinity College. With over four years of tutoring experience, I have successfully guided numerous Leaving Cert students towards achieving their academic goals. I pride myself on my ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling challenging problems. About the lesson

I begin by assessing each student's current understanding and identifying any gaps in their knowledge. My teaching methodology includes: Understanding the concepts: I emphasize a strong grasp of fundamental concepts before moving on to more complex topics. Practical Application: I incorporate real-world examples and problem-solving exercises to illustrate how theoretical concepts apply in practice. Interactive Learning: I encourage students to ask questions and engage in discussions to promote active learning. Customized Lessons: Each lesson is tailored to the student's individual needs, focusing on areas that require the most attention. Attempting Past Papers: In each lesson, I aim to complete at least one full past paper question with my students. This practice helps them become familiar with the exam format and develop effective answering techniques. I also help students understand how to break down a Leaving Cert question. Typical Length of a Lesson: A typical lesson lasts for 60 to 90 minutes. This duration allows sufficient time to cover new material, practice problems, and review previous content. Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor: I am currently an engineering student at Trinity College Dublin, with a strong academic record in both maths and physics. I have been tutoring Leaving Cert students for over two years, helping many achieve significant improvements in their grades. Who Are My Lessons For: My lessons are designed for secondary school students preparing for their Leaving Cert or Junior Cert exams.
