About Frank
I am a rising Junior at Villanova University pursuing a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. I have plenty of experience with tutoring and engaging with kids in instructional environments. This past summer, I facilitated Summer Camps at the Code Ninjas Ramsey Learning Center. Here, I ensured that campers were able to learn and grow while having fun.

Emphasis on understanding mathematical ideas and concepts rather than simply knowing how to do math problems. I believe that developing a strong foundational understanding of math concepts will provide exceptional growth in math performance. I find that when students know how to do math problems without truly understanding the math that they are doing, this doesn't always lead to success
My teaching method is similar to the style of Socratic questioning, as this helps to reaffirm underlying mathematical principles. What sets me apart is my ability to articulate math ideas in a simple and easy-to-follow manner.
Typical Lesson Plan:
- Introduction to the topic
- Engagement with the student about what they might already know about the topic
-Use slideshow to build off of pre-existing knowledge of the topic
-Practice problems (together)
- Practice problems (on their own)
- Go over practice problems to go over any questions or misunderstandings.
- Final Review
