About Arushi

I’m a 16-year-old student with a passion for learning and a strong sense of responsibility. I am currently studying A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics and am also completing a research project on robotic treatment of aortic issues on the side. Outside of my studies, I love reading, exploring new ideas through online courses and staying active through fitness. I love helping others and have taken on leadership roles at school, where I’ve worked to inspire and support my peers. I strive to always be a positive influence and constantly challenge myself to grow, both academically and personally. I’m driven, curious, and always looking for ways to make a meaningful impact in everything I do. I like to write articles, bake and run in my free time and I have been a volunteer at my local library since I was very young. I run a school newspaper and also play piano in order to express myself creatively.

About the lesson

I offer one-to-one, specialist teaching with a focus on exam technique and understanding. Exam practice will be offered and actual concepts will be taught with homework being provided. I will systematically focus on students' areas of weakness and offer explanations and teaching materials to supplement the lessons. The student can also go through any homework or other materials they might need support with. Worksheets and other materials will be given to the student to best target their weaknesses and challenge their learning to optimise understanding and to ensure exam technique is understood. A typical lesson will be an hour long and will be online or in-person depending on availability. Subjects taught: 11+ prep GCSE: Maths, Further Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Classics and English Sixth Form Entrance Exam Prep UKMT Any other subjects or topics can be requested. Qualifications: I am a 16-year-old at one of the most academically selective institutions in the UK and am studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics as A-levels. I received all 9s in my GCSEs in 11 subjects, with Further Maths being something I self-learnt. I received one of the highest scores for the 11+ and have received golds in UKMT from a young age. I have years of tutoring experience and was a Learning Leader at my school, where I hosted workshops and assemblies on the science and art of learning focusing on techniques and essential study habits.

Online lessons offered at a lower price than in-person due to any travel costs and time. Prices are negotiable and will be flexible depending on availability and level of teaching required. Online Rate: £25 per hour In-Person Rate: £27 per hour (+ travel cost depending on location) Packages offer a discount on all rates. Rates can be lowered for lower levels of teaching and can vary depending on availability.
