Excellent! Just recently we contacted Joanna to see if she would be interested in teaching some of our EFL groups. From day one, Joanna was very professional and enthusiastic, nothing was too much to ask even when at times we had to changed lessons and plans at the last minute. She was very quickly able to build great rapport with students and colleagues alike, facilitating the fluidity of the learning environment. I would 100% recommend Joanna.
Really enjoyed working at At Ours Windsor. Lovely students. Really relaxed atmosphere. Pablo and Martina went out of their way to make everything run smoothly. Hope to work for them again!
I have known Joanna for 5 years and worked with her for several years in a Library in an international school where she put a lot of good structures into place.
She is a gentle and encouraging person who strives to enable people to do their best, she treats people as individuals and therefore would strive to enable her students to make the best of their individual abilities.
I have seen her working with her own children and others to encourage them to reach their full potential.
She also a talented writer and a very focussed person with a lot of integrity.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joanna as a trustworthy person who would be a great tutor.
I first met Joanna in Istanbul, Turkey, where we lived with our families. This was in 2011. We quickly developed a friendship, and whenever my non native English speaking children (we are Swedes) met Joanna, she was very kind and empathic, and communicated on a level which they could understand.
Since Joanna has herself lived abroad, she understands how challenging a (new) language can be.
With Joanna as a teacher, you'll have a fun, warm, friendly, and creative tutor - you won't be disappointed!
Joanna C. is an most amazing lady I was blessed to have in my life! We've met in Bosnia(ex Jugoslavia) during her stay with her family. Their stay wasn't just ordinary stay. Joanna, and her family sacrificed THEIR HAPPY LIFE and moved to Bosnia to help out to those affected by a war in my country. She was and still is my Angel, an Angel that I don't think I would of survive without!
I was working for the family as an nanny for 2 years. At the time she had 3 kids all three under age of 5 but even so having me she just couldn't be away from them for to long. She just impressed me in many ways! People say nobody is perfect, Joanna is and I would recommend her from the bottom of my hearth.
I am more than happy to provide a reference for Joanna. She has an enthusiastic and professional approach to her work and is a pleasant and co-operative colleague.
In the classroom, Joanna’s presentation and staging of the material was well thought through, and the way in which she elicited information from her students was clearly informed by considerable language awareness and a sound understanding of modern EFL methodology. I was impressed with the way she encouraged her class to co-operate in language projects and at the same time attend to individual need where it was required. She has a very pleasant manner and was clearly well liked by her students.
Joanna also made a considerable contribution to our ‘End of Course Show’ which was staged for our students’ host families. She had sole responsibility for coaching a drama and mime group whose sketches provided one of the highlights of the evening.
