About Geneva
My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education with an LBS1 license. Throughout my decade-long career as an educator, I have gained diverse teaching experience across multiple grade levels. At the elementary level, I served as a reading fluency tutor, while my middle school experience involved teaching language arts and both 7th and 8th grade mathematics. At the high school level, my instructional background encompasses Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

I have a BS in Chemistry and LBS1 in Special Education. I believe in teaching students a strategy that works best for them. I work with students to improve their executive functioning skills and confidence in various subjects. I can help with elementary fluency, phonics, and decoding. I work with middle school students on reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and 7th- and 8th-grade math. In high school, I can help students prepare for biology, chemistry, and physics classes. I believe in individualizing the learning process, as everyone has a different learning style.
