About Adrian
I am a high-achieving GCSE student with perfect marks across Maths, STEM subjects, Computing, Chemistry, and Physics. I take pride not only in my academic results, but also in my ability to explain challenging concepts in a clear, calm, and structured way.
Because I am currently studying these subjects myself, I have an up-to-date understanding of GCSE specifications, exam techniques, and common pitfalls. This allows me to teach in a way that is directly aligned with what students need to succeed in assessments. I focus on building strong foundations, logical thinking, and confidence - skills that lead to long-term improvement, not just short-term results.
I am professional, reliable, and well-organised in every lesson. I prepare thoroughly, adapt my teaching style to each student, and ensure sessions are productive and focused. My approach to tutoring is focused on clear understanding, exam technique, and confidence building. As a current GCSE student achieving perfect marks across Maths, STEM subjects, Computing, Chemistry, and Physics, I understand exactly what exam boards look for and where students commonly lose marks.
In my lessons, I break down complex topics into simple, logical steps, making sure the foundations are strong before moving on to harder exam-style questions. I focus heavily on problem-solving skills, structured methods, and explaining why answers work — not just memorising formulae. Lessons are interactive, with plenty of guided practice and targeted questions to ensure real understanding.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but this can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs. Sessions usually include a quick recap, focused teaching of a topic, worked examples, and exam-style questions with feedback.
Although I am currently completing my GCSEs, my top grades and full-mark exam results demonstrate a strong mastery of the subjects I teach. Being close in age allows me to explain concepts in a way that is relatable, engaging, and easy to understand, especially for students who may struggle in traditional classroom settings.
My lessons are ideal for KS3 and GCSE students, typically aged 11–16, who want to improve their understanding, boost confidence, or aim for top grades in Maths, STEM, Computing, Chemistry, and Physics.
