About Rafael
Hi, I'm Rafael. I'm majoring in mechanical engineering with great math and physics foundations, and I love to make other people confident in these subjects. I've studied math topics like algebra, trigonometry, and calculus (I, II, and III), and I also have a good background about physics topics like dynamics, statics, mechanics, and general physics. These are the topics for which I feel most capable and eager to tutor. I am a strong tutor because I am patient, succinct, and able to dissect ideas into simple, clear terms. I've had the problem myself of taking tough classes and am aware of how much of a difference having a little extra guidance can make. I approach every session with a positive attitude and a desire to help you learn at your own pace. My goal is to make each lesson as helpful and fun for you as it possibly can be. I want you to feel confident that you understand after each session. I'm here to assist you, whether you're preparing for an exam or learning new material. I'm looking forward to working with you!

As a tutor, I want to get the learning experience to be as enjoyable and satisfying as possible. My belief is that when students are relaxed and actively engaged, real progress is achieved. I would like to make sessions friendly and supportive, providing a relaxed setting in which questions are never frowned upon and where errors are an integral part of the learning process. A standard lesson with me starts off with a quick rundown of previous material to reinforce what we have covered, followed by a straightforward explanation of the lesson we are focusing on. I like to incorporate examples that are applicable to everyday situations whenever possible, so the lesson feels real-life, if that makes any sense. I also like to finish each lesson off with a quick practice session or quiz to reinforce the information and give confidence a boost. What I can bring to the table is that I genuinely care about making each session successful for the student. I take the time to discover how each person best learns, whether they need something explained in pictures, steps, or a lot of practice. I'm patient, personable, and extremely passionate about helping others feel at ease being confident in their learning process. My tutorials are ideal for high school students requiring help with subjects such as math, physics, or engineering fundamentals. I myself have gone through the struggle, so I know how things get overwhelming. My purpose is to make the hard things easier and maybe even fun in the process.
