About Steve

I graduated from the Sorbonne in Comparative Literature and studied pianist and conductor in Munich, Germany. I worked deeply on the phenomenological approach to music in 2012 and followed many master classes throughout Europe with Konrad von Abel, conductor and director of the Nouvelle Philharmonie Internationale. I have been managing the Concentus Merulae for 2 years and have been teaching regularly for almost 4 years in Paris and Munich.

About the lesson

At all levels, I will attach particular importance to transmitting above all my passion for the piano. My methodology is not rigid, it will fit the pupil / student, his personality, his tastes, his level and will be based on a personal, didactic and living relationship. However, some strong points will be developed according to a methodological logic: 1) To sit on the piano 2) To carry his arms to the piano 3) To understand the hand 4) To realize the musical gesture - the eight infinity - the technique of the touch - the integration the weight of the arm and the body in the gesture - the inner muscular impulse 5) Breathing at the piano 6) Mastering the pedal This approach will not apply theoretically but in intimate contact with the innumerable works of the repertoire.
