About Meliz

Drawing on eight years’ clinical experience in the NHS and a background in psychology, I offer professional, personalised yoga sessions tailored to individual needs and wellbeing.

In 2023, I took a career break to travel to India, where I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training. Since then, I’ve continued to expand my knowledge through further training in children’s yoga and yoga therapy, bringing my training to 350 hours and informing my inclusive, adaptable approach to teaching.

I’m experienced in therapeutic yoga for children and young people, offering low-cost group and individual sessions designed to support emotional and overall wellbeing. I also offer meditation, traditional Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, with sessions tailored to suit all ages and abilities. Classes are available online and in person in London.

Whether you’re looking to build strength and flexibility, slow down and de-stress, or support your emotional wellbeing, I aim to create a safe, welcoming space that meets you where you are.

About the lesson

My classes offer a calm, supportive space to slow down, using gentle movement, breathwork, and relaxation to help manage stress and anxiety. Suitable for all levels, each session is adaptable, inclusive, and designed to help you feel more grounded and at ease.

Deadly! Meliz is an exceptional teacher. I’m relatively new to yoga and it doesn’t come naturally to me, but she took so much time and care to guide me through each pose with patience and clarity. She has a brilliant way of making you feel comfortable while also ensuring you’re progressing and improving. I’ve learned a huge amount in a short space of time and genuinely look forward to every session. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.

The flow of the class is really well thought out and always beautifully delivered. You leave feeling like you’ve properly moved your body and reset mentally.
