About Izzy

I am 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and a 50-hour Kids Yoga Teacher (Yoga Pros Accredited). I have been practising Yoga for over 10 years, I first came across Yoga on Youtube and I started practising nearly daily from my bedroom, and 10 years later I instruct children and adults to move their bodies and connect with themselves. Yoga has been a way to regulate my mind and body, and has helped me to get to know myself better. So my goal as a Yoga Teacher is to help you discover the tools to take care of your mind and body in a space that feels supported, welcome and inspiring.

About the lesson

In my yoga classes we'll move the body as we connect to the self. A relaxed and welcoming space for you to explore, learn, and grow in your yoga practice. We'll tailor the class to your experience (beginners welcome!) and personal goals for practice, whether it's to grow in strength or flexibility, build confidence, or quieten the mind and reunite with yourself. As a neuro-affirmative informed instructor, I'm passionate about making Yoga accessible, inclusive and meaningful for everyone.

I have 3 offerings you can choose from:

A vinyasa yoga class (flow) - we'll start by grounding, then gently warm up the body, moving between poses with fluidity that builds strength, flexibility and is considered light cardio, before stretching out and ending in relaxation.

A yin yoga class - a slow paced moving-meditative where poses are held for 3 - 10 minutes, letting gravity do the work to gently hydrate the deep connective tissue (rather than building muscle), calming the mind and body.

A flow into yin class - where we'll combine the two, focusing on building energy and heat to transition into restorative poses.
