About Ilaria

I am a qualified yoga instructor and member of Yoga Australia. I offer private and group yoga classes in and around Melbourne. My purpose is to make yoga accessible to all, irrespective of age, culture, and fitness level. I have been practicing different styles of yoga since 2011, and have a passion for yoga philosophy. I teach accessible and inclusive classes with modifications from beginner to advanced students. My focus is on strengthening the mind and the body, while practicing self-acceptance and grounding in the present.

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on the Iyengar style and focused on safety and alignment. My approach is friendly and empowering, and I always make sure you feel comfortably challenged.

The end goal is for you to leave class better than when you started, whatever it may mean for you. I respect your individuality and inform my teaching based on your preferences.

I recently attended a yoga class of Ilaria's in Melbourne and I was amazed at what I could actually achieve. Some stances of course were impossible for a middle-aged bloke like me, but I had lots of fun and learnt so much in just a one hour lesson. She is such a wonderful teacher as she explains why and how we will do the next stance before we do it, and then demonstrates it a few times which gives me a high level of confidence and energy when we start the movement. As we go through the movement she comes and makes sure we are doing it correctly which I really liked as I am a beginner. Its a pity my job does not take me to Melbourne very often but I will certainly book classes when I know I am going to Melbourne. I can definitely recommend Ilaria to teach yoga.

Details

Cancellation Policy:

- You can cancel your class by giving me at least 24 hours notice at no charge.
- If you cancel a class with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of the class fee.

- If you purchased a group of classes and you are unable to attend a scheduled class, you are able to reschedule that class for another date once. No more than one class will be rescheduled.
